Square posts free Enix game x iOS Comic App Worldwide

The developer of video game Square Enix released an implementation of hybrid game/comic called imaginary range for iOS devices like the iPhone of Apple, iPod touch, and iPad on Thursday devices. The application is presented as an electronic comic book in full color with mini-games that the readers can play as progress through the story. The application is available worldwide in Japanese, English and French in the Apple App Store.

The story takes place in France, which is being attacked by a mysterious huge demi-gods known as Omega. A psychotherapist named to IDC reveals the true nature of the world in the middle of battles in reality and dreams. The player can unlock additional comic commentary, gameplay of independent and articles in the Gallery mode.

soki Tsukishima (emeth ~ Ningyo Tsukai no Shima ~) he wrote the game, and Motomu Toriyama (Final Fantasy XIII) served as a director. Toshiyuki Itahana (designer of characters of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles franchise) was responsible for the art in the comic part.
