City of Korea Hunter Show licensed for the transmission of the Hulu United States

The SBS of speaker of Korean television annnounced on Wednesday that license its adaptation of the manga series of comedy of police action of Tsukasa Hojo City Hunter for distribution in the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand and Viet Nam. In particular, the SBS said that United States people will be able to see the series on the Web site of video streaming Hulu.

Actor Lee Min-Ho stars as Ryo Saeba, a private eye ("Sweeper") with unparalleled accuracy and an obsession of over the top for the opposite sex. Instead of Tokyo in the early 1980s, the new SBS series re-imagines configuration of the manga as Seoul in 2011. Lee plays a former CIA operative who now works as a gun for hire. Minyoung Park plays in love with Ryo.

SBS also reported that there is interest in licensing the series for Bulgaria, Japan, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, Philippines and other countries.

The series premiered on Wednesday in Korea of the South, and is running every Wednesday and Thursday at 9: 55 PM the original manga had already been adapted into four anime series of television, an anime film and several special television and video. ADV Films released the majority of these projects of anime in North America. Hojo since then pointed out a sequel of Angel Heart his manga City Hunter, and the manga has also been adapted for television anime. Martial arts of Hong Kong Jackie Chan played Saeba in an adaptation of Hong Kong of loose 1992 of City Hunter live action.
