The newspaper Sankei sports reported on Monday that the creator manga that Yuuki Obata will end its that there were (Bokura ga Ita) romance shojo series in almost at the same time that the film adaptation of the manga live action opens in Japan next spring. The producers of the two live action movies meet with Obata to ensure the sleeve and the movies have the same end.
Takahiro Miki is directing the films with decision-making Ikuta (Akihabara @ DEEP) and Yuriko Yoshitaka (Gantz) in the lead roles. The 14 volumes of the manga has sold over 10 million copies in Japan since 2002. VIZ Media is publishing the 12th volume in North America this month. The manga already inspired an Artland television anime series in 2006.
