The June issue of Bessatsu friend from Kodansha magazine announced last Friday that Jun Yuzuki will end his manga of romantic comedy Prince Gakuen in July of the magazine issue. Gakuen Prince tells the story of the students at an elite high school, where the male students are overcome in large numbers. Random House label of del Rey Manga had published three of the 11 volumes of current manga in North America in 2009. Last year, United States Kodansha announced gradually would take on the rights of publication of titles published by the Publisher in North America, although not list Gakuen Prince among his expected titles.
Also in the edition of June, Shizuru Seino began serialization in his new manga match Katsu! (Victory in love!, pictured to the left). TOKYOPOP had released girl has game, attack of love and sky of Sieno! manga in North America. Match Katsu! It's about a girl named Natsuo who transfers to a new school and would like to join the volleyball team. However, there are more than enough students (who happen to be Ikemen: handsome men) at the club already. Ayahito Katsuma released a romantic fantasy manga not entitled Tenshi Kamaboko (Angel cake) about a Prince demon who meets a girl in fallen angel, and Akari started serialization in a manga gag entitled Konchiwa Hamuko (Hello Hamuko) on a transfer of insolent Hamster in a school for animals.
The June issue also revealed Kare wa that Kayoko Shimotsuki Devil! (It is Devil!) manga will end in the next edition. Finally, the number of July will not see the beginning of Ruka Natsu Ichise Hajimari (the summer when it began) manga.
