Rokudenashi Blues boxing Manga gets live-action program

The Edition this year 25 of the magazine Weekly Young Jump from Shueisha is announcing on Friday that an adaptation of the television series of manga by Masanori Morita Rokudenashi Blues classic boxing live action has been given the go-ahead for a premiere in July 2011. The story focuses on Taison Maeda, a boy who makes a first impression at his new school of criminals by hitting a master. While some clubs want to hire to beat up other clubs, Taison wishes only to lead the boxing club and become the world champion of boxing.

Aya Omasa (Paradise Kiss, Hana Yori Dango 2 [return]) will play the heroine Chiaki, while to Rie Kitahara group female Idol AKB48 will play fellow of Taison Kazumi.

The manga ran in weekly Shonen Jump from Shueisha from 1988 to 1997, and its compiled book volumes have 50 million printed copies. Already inspired two movies of anime television, two live action films and a play.
