Delay Hellsing Ultimate VIII adds Petit Extra of Anime

The Japanese distributor of Geneon Universal Entertainment Video announced Tuesday that the eighth volume in the series of video anime Hellsing Ultimate will send in Japan disk Blu-ray and DVD July 27 with a "petit anime" additional. (The French term "petit" often is used to describe the "super-deformed" or "chibi" characters). Personnel previously planned volume for June 22.

The anime staff cited the effects of the catastrophe of the great earthquake of Eastern Japan (Higashi Nihon plain) in the already close production program and the desire of resumes as reasons for the delay of a month.

The eighth volume of Hellsing Ultimate marks the beginning of the third and final season, which will have three volumes. Studies of Graphinica and Kelmadick are the animation of the third season, after Satelight and MADHOUSE animation above. (GONZO the 2001–2002 anime animated series that also adapted manga by Kouta Hirano's Hellsing). Geneon Entertainment (USA) Inc. once distributed both projects of anime Hellsing, but Funimation is now distributing them.

The "petit anime" extra and the versions of crédito-menos of the opening and ending animation sequences come in an independent a first limited edition bonus album. The first edition will also include a 12 page booklet.
