The Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper reported on Sunday that the study of anime that gonzo is collaborating with Chinese companies in the joint production of three projects. At least one of the projects will be a film that will open in 2012 or 2013, and will feature a popular character in China. Current projects of Gonzo in Japan include Copihan, Last Exile: Ginyoku not Fam (Last Exile - Fam, silver wing-) and Nyanpire animation.
The general article refers to the attempts of several of the studies of Japanese anime to enter the market in China, all while the Chinese Government is to develop the industry of media in the country in the animation and other fields. Toei Animation Japan is to jointly produce a new animated film based on his historical comedy anime Ikkyu-san with the conglomerate Chinese media of Shanghai (SMG) group. The TV Tokyo Japanese television network is working with the Canadian artist Pat Lee (transformers, Darkminds) and the Chinese Carloon study animation in a full-CG television series called train hero.
Another article from Sunday in Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported that the Japanese major advertising firm Asatsu DK (ADK) is entering the Chinese animation industry by partnering with an animation of the Chinese Government-owned company.
