During the war Manga Kono Sekai no no Katasumi obtains special TV

Keiko Kitagawa (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Sailor Mars, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift Reiko) will be entitled a special action television live based on war drama manga Fumiyo Kono Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni (in a corner of this world) on 5 August. Kitagawa only appeared this past the film adaptation of manga by Ai Yazawa Paradise Kiss spring live action.

The winning story of the prize for Kono Sekai no no Katasumi follows a girlfriend named Suzu Uranus as he moved to his new life in the city of Kure on the coast of Hiroshima Prefecture. Suzu perseveres through World War II with pluck and determination. Keisuke Koide (Gokusen 2, Nodame Cantabile, rookies) interprets Shusaku Hojo, a naval officer proposed Suzu after a meeting of the children.

Yuka actress plays Rhine Shiroki, a friend of Suzu does in Kure with a secret past. Mokomichi Hayami (Gokusen, absolute boyfriend) plays Tetsu Mizuhara, an old friend of Suzu and her first boyfriend. The Ryo actress plays to Keiko, sister of Shusaku, who returns after a divorce in the family. Saburo Shinoda and Yoshie Ichige play Suzu Entaro father-in-law and mother-in-law San, respectively. Finally, Mana Ashida (Usagi Drop/Bunny Drop) play the war Chizuko orphan.

Kono had serialized Kono Sekai no no Katasumi from 2007 to 2009 in the magazine Manga Action of Futabasha. The manga was honored as a work of recommended of jury at the 12th Festival of art of Japan, and won an award of excellence in the 13th festival.

Kono had previously created city quiet night, country of Cherry Blossoms (Yunagi no Machi, Sakura no Kuni), a manga about two young women in two different generations who deal with the aftermath of the Hiroshima atomic bomb. The manga inspired a film of live action and a planetarium show 2010. After final publication moan and jaPress released in North America, the manga won one of the 2007 New York magazine culture awards.
