Company apologizes for allegedly calcada of Moe's art

Kanko Nippon Shoji (Nikkan), a company that specializes in the industry of tourism Japanese, published a letter Thursday to address the controversy over illustration supposedly tracing moe of K-ON!, Haruhi Suzumiya and other franchises.

Nikkan released Go-Tochi Moe (our Local Moe), a line of products decorated with characters linked to several languages Japanese, as "Naniwa Moe" of Osaka, "Akiba Moe" in Tokyo, "purika moe" of Hokkaido and Okinawa "Chura Moe". The company acknowledged, however, that did not exercise due diligence to ensure that the enlightenment did not infringe copyright of other companies.

Nikkan decided that it would be "inappropriate" to sell their current designs. He decided to extract these designs on the market, dispose of them and redesign them. The company offered their apologies for the issue.
