SHUEISHA to launch, relaunch 3 Manga Mags in 2011-2012

The Japanese Publisher Shueisha announced on Monday that will combine its seinen magazines (young) business jump and Super jump to create a new bi-monthly magazine this fall. Business jump will end with the 21st edition of this year on October 5, and Super Jump will end with the 21st edition of this year on October 12. In addition, it will launch an independent monthly magazine this year. On the other hand, the sequel to magazine jump Kai will be relaunching as a periodic journal regular next spring.
SHUEISHA currently publishes about 240,000 copies of business jump every first and third Wednesday. Magazine began in May 1985 as a monthly and fortnightly entered March next year. Its main readership is composed of male workers in the age of 30 and 40. His titles include the sweet life, Takeki Ogon no Kuni and Jo-o.
Some 200,000 copies of Super Jump sent each second and fourth Wednesday. It was released in October 1988 as a seinen magazine aimed at the generation in Weekly Shonen Jump. Their titles are Ring or Kakero 2, Jin and Gotakeshi.
SHUEISHA explained that he is making these changes in response to the changing environment of seinen manga and the changing tastes of readers.
