An adaptation of the television series live from the classic anime supernatural adventure humanoid Monster Bem (Yokai Ningen Bem) will be released on the NTV network Japan this month of October. Kazuya Kamenashi (Gokusen, The Wallflower, Kami no Shizuku) music group KAT-TUN will star in the title character, while the model and actress Anne will play fellow team Bera and child actor of Bem Fuku Suzuki (2011 Hana-Kimi) will play the young Monster watercress.
In the 1968 original anime, Bem, Bera and watercress are horrific monsters (yokai) humanoid fighting for justice. The monsters live among humans and protect of yokai evil. The three are ostracism of humans and other yokai, but all three continue to fight in the hope of someday become humans themselves.
Masafumi Nishida (Tiger & Bunny) is writing the series of humanoid Monster Bem alive, you just did another recent adaptation of live on supernatural creatures caught between monster (Kaibutsu-kun) and human worlds.
The first anime series already inspired a remake of the 2006 anime series.
