Trigun movie Gets the American premiere (update 2)

Film distributor eleven Arts confirmed on Tuesday that has partnered with FUNimation Entertainment to release the film of the anime Trigun: Badlands Rumble in summer 2011.

FUNimation has confirmed with ANN that some theaters will show a dubbed version in English of the film, while others show the film with the original track in Japanese. The company also told ANN that Funimation Trigun official website will be updated with the programming of projection "soon". FUNimation originally indicated plans to release the film theatrically when he announced the license at Anime Expo 2010.

Yasuhiro Nightow Trigun manga originally was released in 1995 in the anthology of manga Shonen Captain Tokuma Shoten. In 1997 the magazine folded and Nightow changed editors, freeing our Shonen Gahosha Trigun Maximum in Young King until the series ended in 2008. In 1998, Madhouse Studios animated anime television based on the series, which United States Geneon licensed in 1999. After closure of Geneon USA, Funimation acquired the rights to the original series. Dark Horse Comics acquired the rights to North America for both sets of manga in 2003 and had released the final volume in the series in 2009.

Fanime of California for Trigun Host of designer Takahiro Yoshimatsu

The FanimeCon anime Convention announced on Friday that Takahiro Yoshimatsu character designer and animator will appear as a guest of honour at the event from 27 to 30 may in San Jose, California.

Yoshimatsu has worked as a key animator or animation director on numerous titles, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Black Cat. Also designed the characters of the television of Trigun and the Trigun series: film Rumble Badlands, hunting several and projects future GPX Cyber Formula, Les Misérables - Shoujo Cosette, Basquash!, show the Super Milk-chan, Kiba, Desert Punk, Shingu: secret to stellar warsNinja Scroll TV series and the two soundtrack-chan - secret of the lovely patch television series.

Yoshimatsu will make its debut as a director with Gonzo Nyanpire animation television anime. Yoshimatsu is also creating manga using the pseudonym of "Algo yoshimatsu" (samushingu yoshimatsu).

FanimeCon also will host voice actor and singer Yuya Matsushita, designer of Evangelion Petit Ryusuke Hamamoto, Fullmetal Alchemist/Gundam 00 director Seiji Mizushima, and Japanese pop band flow.

Yoshimatsu previously appeared in the event of Seattle with Sakura in 2010 in order to promote the Trigun: film Badlands Rumble, which premiered in the Convention.
