Gintama: The Movie Sentai Filmworks Licenses

The North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Thursday that it acquired Gintama: The Movie (Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-Hen). According to the company, the action comedy film will soon be available digitally, with a home video release on DVD and Blu-ray Disc scheduled for later this year.

The world God only knows album new package Anime Video

Dai Sato Hosts five numbers in the films New York Festival of hope

Films for hope, a film festival charity for those affected by the disaster of the great earthquake of Eastern Japan (Higashi Nihon plain), will welcome writer Dai Sato (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eureka 7, Freedom Project) as a guest during the September 11 event. The festival will show the five numbers! anime who wrote Sato. The festival is a joint initiative of the film program and the network of innovators of U.S-Japan. 50 percent of all proceeds will go to the earthquake relief fund society of Japan.
