Anime Expo host the secondary school of the dead crew 3

Anime Expo announced in a press release Tuesday that Studio Madhouse creators Tetsuro Araki, Masayoshi Tanaka, and Kentaro Hashimoto will attend as guests of honour during the 1st to the 4th of July event in Los Angeles.

Araki originally began his career as an artist of Di Gi Charat Nyo storyboard and the series Galaxy Angel before heading titles such as Death Note and Highschool of the Dead. Araki is scheduled to direct the guilty Crown series to debut in October.

It's second appearance of Araki AX already first attended the Convention in 2007.

Tanaka has spent most of his career working as an animator for several projects, such as Gurren Lagann, School Rumble and X. As Araki, Tanaka contributed work in the secondary school of the dead as the animation director, character designer and Chief. Currently works in the sector of life anime at a-1 Pictures AnoHana.

Hashimoto is rounded up the group with the producer of animation of Highschool of the Dead. He is currently working on the comedy anime channel.

The trio will attend the screening of Highschool of the Dead July 2 and will host panel of the creator.

On the other hand, the AM2 Anaheim Convention, to be held the same weekend as Anime Expo, has previously announced founder of m & M Studio Masao Maruyama and Laguna Negra director Sunao Katabuchi as guests of honour.

Ouran High School Host Club gets live-action program

The number of July in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine announced Tuesday that an adaptation of the television series of live action romantic comedy of Bisco Hatori Ouran High School Host Club manga has been given the go-ahead for the month of July. The TBS network series will be Yusuke Yamamoto (Kamen Rider Kabuto, Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e) as the Host Club President Tamaki Suo and Haruna Kawaguchi (Yankee-kun Megane-Chan, Moshidora) as the heroine Haruhi Fujioka.

In history, freshman high school Haruhi is not intended to be a child so that she can take part in Host Club Rica school, so she owes a great debt. The manga in LaLa in August 2003 and Viz Media launched its release in North America in July 2005. Among the most prestigious titles in Japan and in the New York Times manga best seller list, has been the manga. The manga ended in Japan of last September, and VIZ Media is publishing the 16 of 18 volumes of book compiled next month.

In April 2006, a 26 episode anime series started in Japan with Maaya Sakamoto as Haruhi and Mamoru Miyano as Tamaki. FUNimation released the anime in North America in 2008.

High School of the Dead Rei Miyamoto 8" PVC Figure

Rei Miyamoto is one of the characters based on the manga series "Highschool of the Dead," written by Daisuke Sato and illustrated by Shouji Sato. It has been published in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age since September 2006. The series follows a group of Japanese high school students caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. "High School of the Dead - Rei Miyamoto" is a 8" tall highly detailed PVC figure fully painted and comes in a window box. This figure will be limited to 500 pcs for the North American market.
