The first volume of the main manga series debuted in February (released a month after the own TV anime series) and only sold 14,000 copies in its first week. However, four weeks later as the anime grew in popularity, the same volume sold 45,000 copies in a week. The second volume of the series debuted in March with 31,050 copies sold in its first week and then sold 49,166 copies in its second week. The first volume has sold about 220,000 copies and the second volume has sold about 200,000.
The eighth volume of no ga ore Imouto Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (Oreimo) series sold 151,194 copies in the beginning the graphic classification bunko sales for the week of 9 to 15 May. It is the second volume in the series to rank # 1, once the seventh volume debuted at the same place last November.
The Guide Koshiki Sosenkyo from AKB48 for female group AKB48 moves 75,000 copies in its first week to the land of the general category of book.
