Sentai Filmworks adds Amagami SS, MM! TV Anime (updated)

The licensee of the North American anime Sentai Filmworks announced in its Anime Central panel Saturday that acquired the Amagami SS and MM! series of anime TV to launch this month of September.

The SS Amagami anime had adapted Enterbrain PlayStation 2 Amagami romance simulation game. The game focuses around a boy in second year high school that was uncomfortable during Christmas due to experience in the past. However, this year at Christmas, he gets his last chance to ask a female of graduation higher called Haruka Morishima, or one of several other colleagues. Anime Yoshimasa Hiraike and AIC aired from July to December of last year.

The MM! anime had adapted series of final Matsuno of Akinari on taro Sado, a high school boy who discovered a part of himself that is masochism. Even as he tries to hide this side of her high school boyfriend, tries to fix it through its "second volunteer Club school." Anime Tsuyoshi Nagasawa and XEBEC aired from October to December of last year.

Update: Sentai Filmworks indicated that both anime will "probably" have only subtitles in English, but also said that the King demon witch was to be only subtitled to Sentai Filmworks and Section23 films decided to give it an English dub and a release of Blu-Ray disc based on statistics of transmission.

Sentai Filmworks adds Clamp Kobato TV Anime

The American anime licensor Sentai Filmworks revealed in its panel of Kawaii Kon Saturday that acquired the Kobato. anime fantasy television series to launch in August. In the original CLAMP manga and subsequent anime adaptation, Kobato (Kana Hanazawa) is a young woman who "heals" pain of others and a mysterious bottle filled with feelings of suffering of their hearts. The anime ran for 24 episodes from 2009 to 2010.

Yen press will publish the fourth volume of manga in North America this month of July.
