Aniplex of flows of America Rurouni Kenshin Blu-Ray Promo

Anime Distributor Aniplex of America had uploaded a video for the promotion of 26 seconds for the next release of Blu-ray of the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs and animated film. Announced at FanimeCon in may, Aniplex of America directly imported the Japanese edition of OVAs Blu-ray disc and the film, but the company will add a brochure translated into English.

The first disc Blu-ray in being released will be the prelude to 1999 egg, Rurouni Kenshin: betrayal of trust & (Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuioku Hen). The collection of four episode is priced at US $64.98 and be sent on 24 August. In April, Aniplex confirmed that the release of Blu-ray will feature subtitles in Japanese and English with an option to change the audio for the English created by the now-defunct ADV Films dub.

The 2001 two eggs, Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection (Rurouni Kenshin: Seiso chicken) and the 1997 film Rurouni Kenshin sent on 21 September and 24 October, respectively. Two of these Blu-ray versions are priced at US $54.98.

All the titles of three sent from right Stuf and Bandai Entertainment online stores and are currently accepting reservations.

The Rurouni Kenshin franchise was originally created by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The Samurai manga from 1994-1999 in the weekly Shonen Jump magazine and was later adapted into anime television series. VIZ Media released all 28 volumes of the manga Rurouni Kenshin, while anime distributor Media Blasters released 22 DVD 95 episodes of the anime.

The garden of sinners, last import of Blu-ray of Aniplex of America, was a boxet of eight Blu-ray discs with a price of us $398.98. The version sold seventh in a month.

NIS America adds Katanagatari, Arakawa under the bridge

NIS America (NISA), the American branch of Nippon Ichi Software game, announced this week that it has bought the rights to the anime TV series Katanagatari and Arakawa under the bridge. Each set comes in a pack of combination of Blu-ray Disc and DVD with English subtitles in the month of July. The packages include the same chipboard boxes and oversized hardcover art books common to other publications NISA.

Katanagatari is an adaptation of anime volume light novel series of the same name NisiOisin. The series revolves around Shichika Yasuri, seventh generation head of the school of martial arts in medieval Japan Kyoto-ryu. He and his older sister Nanami live on an uncharted island, until a military adviser named Togame tells of 12 final swords forged by a gunsmith. Offering Shichika Togame, embarks on a journey to find all 12 of the swords. Although the series aired on television, has not followed a traditional broadcast week; 12 monthly episodes aired between 25 January and 10 December 2010.

In 2009, the television adaptation of the anime Hikaru Nakamura Arakawa under the bridge denpa-kei gag comedy manga was announced at the Tokyo Young Gangan EDF. Anime no Okage Summer 2009, with a second season green lit last June. In the story, a young upper class man named Ko "riku" Ichinomiya meets a beautiful girl of no fixed abode, called Nino from the shores of Arakawa River, where many of the more unusual residents of Tokyo. The subgenus denpa-kei stories revolves around quirky life; the subgenus takes the premise that bizarre behaviors are caused by electromagnetic waves (denpa).

An adaptation of the television and film, live-action manga Arakawa under the bridge was also announced last month.
